Cousins!!

My dad and I. I really needed that shoulder rub! and who could live without their sisters! not me!

Classic Jaron shot. Kari, you are so cute!

Olivia, Kari and Ellie love each other!! We were lucky enough to go to Texas a few weeks ago for my niece Kaia's baptism. It was def worth the drive. The service was very spiritual. My dad gave an awesome talk on the Holy Ghost, Kaia was only dunked once and we had some really good family time. We missed my mom and Dave and Emily of course. Anne cooked some good BBQ ribs and we all slept on air mattresses on her house!! It was great. Jaron ended up going last minute. He changed his mind at 7 am the morning I was leaving. He's so sweet!!

Thank goodness he came too because we got a flat tire in Lafayette and even though I learned how to change a tire in Young Women's I really was glad my skills didn't have to be put to the test. So two tires, two hundred dollars and three hours later we were back on the road to Texas! It was quite the drive (12 1/2 hours) but worth the adventure and family time!!

Good News!!

Well, I just wanted to make an official announcement on my blog today....some of you already know but some of you don't!! So here it is......drum roll, Pam.......

I'm pregnant! Yay! Baby #3 will be coming supposedly on October 18. We shall see. So far I feel really hungry. The weird metallic taste has almost left my mouth and as long as I eat continuously whatever I'm craving or feel like eating at the time, I feel great. My belly is already getting a little fat. okay it already was!! ha ha!

Well there you go!! Olivia is convinced it's a girl and her name will be Maggie. Ellie wants to name her Lucy. If it's a boy (which it isn't according to Olivia), they will name him Peter. after Peter Pan. Love ya!!

Birthday Pictures

Here are a few pictures from Olivia's birthday party! We did face painting and painted nails and dressed up! The girls and the lone Prince William had a great time. He mostly stayed in the playroom away from all the chaos and princesses. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the cake! woops! Olivia and her friends opened up all her presents in 30 seconds flat. It was amazing.

Lazy Sunday

Well today has been a nice lazy Sunday. I enjoyed Nursery with 10 kids today. We were missing three. They will be splitting it soon which will be great! I love being with the kids and church really flies by. Olivia is so big now. She is in Sunbeams and although she resists going at the first, she always does great. I made some Creme Brulee today and luckily some of our neighbors dropped in. Pedro is from Cuba, Jossie is from Puerto Rico and they have 3 lovely daughters; Natalie 14, Nicole 7, and Natasha 5. We had a nice dinner with Digiournio Pizza, a yummy salad and creme brulee. It worked and we enjoyed the company. We always miss family dinners on Sunday so it is nice to share sometimes. especially when we're talking about a dessert made from cream, egg yolks, vanilla bean and sugar. It was divine. a small moment of glory.....and a lot of exercise i need to do tomorrow! love you all! I'll be posting Olivia's birthday pictures very soon!

Snow pictures

Ellie and Daddy on the four-wheeler. Ellie loved it! She played outside for the longest time.
So the picture of Olivia, Jaron and Ellie isn't so great but it shows the layering that was added to the left side of Olivia's hair. A beautician in the making.
Finally a picture of Kari, Olivia's cousin. We didn't have any snow pants for her so we used Jaron's socks as leg warmers. it was awesome.

We're home!

Well we're back and trying to get back in our routines again! We had a great time in Idaho and were happy to see a lot of family and some friends!! Sorry for the ones we didn't catch! I'll do better next time I promise!! Well, while we were there Olivia decided to give herself a little trim. I mean a Mullet. as well as her cousin Kari some bangs. My friend Lindy cleaned it up a bit but it will take a few months before she doesn't look like she Belongs in Alabama. lol.

So the most exciting thing that happened today was that I won my very first cooking contest!!! Jaron's work had a cook-off. I made my Pork Posole that my neighbor Carina taught me how to make. and it took first in the Soup Category!! I won a $150 gift card to Williams-Sonoma and a lot of satisfaction. It just feels good to win sometimes!

Well, Olivia is going to turn 4 next week. I'm really trying to decide what kind of Princess party I should throw. I mean, how crazy do I go. I was looking online and people are spending up to a thousand dollars on little girls parties! well, not me. but I still want to have something fun, cute and nice. so if you have any ideas send them my way!!
