Happy Easter and Spring Break!!

Okay so I still haven't figured out how to put in a picture and then write comments!! Sorry. It will come hopefully. Well as you can see we had a wonderful visit from my sister Anne and her family, Jay, Seth, Kaia, Sean and Kari. We mostly relaxed and played outside whenever we could. It was a bit chilly ~55-65 degrees but we still had lots of fun. We went to a really big field, picked flowers and hit golf balls. It was a blast. They made a long 12 hour drive to see us and we are so glad they did!
Easter was fun this year. Olivia and Ellie cashed in on 2 Easter Egg hunts. We filled a paper bag full of easter eggs. I am loving all the candy. Olivia helped color the eggs. She did a great job. We sure missed the Easter egg hunts with y'all. and the ham, and the potatoes and all the desserts.
Love you and miss you so much! Leslie, Jaron, Olivia and Ellie
pictures of the house coming soon....

First Blog!!

So here I am creating my first blog with no idea what to say.....we have lived in Huntsville, Alabama since June 26, 2007. Jaron brought me out here with dreams of rolling hills, green trees and building spaceships with NASA. Little did he realize that I would soon start treating him like my punch bag because he took me away from my friends, family, neighborhood, house and garden. oh yeah, and my job. He really hasn't sustained too many bruises though as I am adjusting. We have had quite a few visits from family and friends (and have more to come thank goodness) which has helped tremendously.

We moved into a house a month ago. Of course we bought another fixer-upper and it is turning quite beautiful thanks to my handyman husband. We've painted and recarpeted everything except for the family room in which we put down chocolate bamboo flooring. sounds yummy doesn't it. It looks really good. I measured and did the cuts while Jaron nailed everything down.

Jaron just got his first official calling in the ward to be first counselor in Elder's Quorum. I think he is excited. I have been serving in the Young Women's since August I think. I am over the Beehives and it is awesome! They are so smart, energetic and organized. I love it. They are very strong in their testimonies and knowledge. I also got called to the Stake Camp Level 3 leader! ahh! I really didn't know what I was getting myself into. I love camping but to be in charge at camp! and they don't even allow snipe hunting. how sad. no pranks allowed. what is camp without torturing first years. My mom is coming to watch the girls which is really great of her. Olivia and Ellie will love that one on one time with her.

Olivia (3 years) just started ballet. She is so cute. She wears her leotard and walks around on her tip toes and kicks that back leg up. She really is growing up. She's taller and so smart. She can remember books and will often read them back verbatim. She's getting nicer with Ellie and sometimes they play really well. They love to chase each other around.

Ellie (20 months) is really talking well. Her constant phrases include, ' i wan choco (yes that would be chocolate), i wan dada, i wan baba (bottle), No NO Babeeah, Nice! nice babia (that would be olivia). She is so loving and sweet althought she has some real attitude. wow. don't know where she got that from. must be her daddy.

We love you and miss you all very much. I hope you can pick up my sarcasm in this blog. (I really wasn't hitting Jaron, I was just kidding!)
Love you, les and family
